Trick-or-Treating

As you can see it was an awesome night. Max loved trick-or-treating, he thought it was the greatest thing everyone was giving him candy. And his cousin Seinna was great introducing him at every house, "That's Max. He's a superhero." Then after Max would take some candy she would say "Oh he always does that, he always wants a lot." It was great.

Halloween Day

{just woke up from his nap}

{he was very happy about this leaf}

{carving the pumpkin!}

Halloween day we hung out and carved a pumpkin. And of course I had to take some pictures of Max out with all the awesome leafs that had fallen off our tree. Then we headed over to Mason's parents and played with Max in their backyard for awhile. We had the traditional pumpkin dinner, one of my favorite meals! Then it was time for trick-or-treating with Max's two cousins.
More to come on that.

Witches Night Out

{Max was pretty confused about the whole thing}

Mason and I went to Witches Night Out at Gardner Village the other night with his sister Lexi and her two girls. It was so crowded! But it ended up being a fun night of people watching. Max was pretty confused with all the crazy dressed up people and loud music. Jack just slept the whole time snuggled up to me in his baby carrier. The girls got their faces painted and we just ended up walking around looking at things and visiting the Disco Witch, who is a good friend of Mason's mom.

It was a good start to get in the spirit for Halloween.

Halloween 2010

We had a wonderful Halloween. Yesterday we started off our festivities by making Mason's traditional Halloween dinner in a Pumpkin. It was oh so yummy and will definitely be our new tradition. I ate it alone while watching Hocus Pocus because Mason had a show that night with his band, and because Max was asleep.

Today we went to downtown Burbank, all the stores give out candy and they have a parade for dogs that are dressed up. Max had fun making cute noises and being the cutest bat ever. He made a lot of people stop and smile and tell us how cute he was. It was so sweet when I would let him pick a candy and his little hands grabbing it was so cute! Mason and I stopped and had dinner at a sushi place and then headed home where we checked out Max's stash of candy.

so again HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Happy Halloween!

"...The muted cries and laughter of boys and girls, full of costume dreams and pumpkin spirit. Preparing for the greatest night of the year. Better then Easter, better then Christmas, Halloween."
-Ray Bradbury, The Halloween Tree

I hope you all have a
HAPPY HALLOWEEN

weekend!

The Pumpkin Patch

Last Sunday after our nice breakfast outside we headed out to a pumpkin patch near Mason's grandparents. Melanie(Mason's cousin) and her husband Britt and there new little baby boy Harvey came with us along with Mason's grandpa. It was very hot out but it turned out to be so fun. The pumpkin patch we went to was so cool it had blow up slides and bouncy things, a Frankenstein walking around, a live band, a little shop with decorations, and lots more. We got some cute pictures of Max with the pumpkins. And he seemed to be having a good time. We got him his own little pumpkin and a few for decorations. It was also so cute to see Max interact with Harvey, they weren't so sure about each other.
