Gardening at Grandma's

Last Saturday was such a nice day, we headed over first thing in the morning to Mason's parents to help his mom with her garden. She had pancakes and eggs for us when we got there and then we headed outside. Savannah and Sienna(Max's cousins) had slept over so they were there to help too. Max loved being outside and is getting a lot more used to grass. He had a good time playing with the girl's car and pretending to wash it. It was such a nice fun morning. Then I headed home to give Max a nap. After he woke up we had a fun lunch at Costco.

Our two year anniversary!

On May 23rd 2009 I married the man of my dreams. Cheesy? fine, but true.
I love Mason so much. He and I get along so well and he is always so sweet and loving. He is such an awesome dad to Max. He always makes sure I have the best Birthdays, Mothers Day's, and any other special day he always goes out of his way to make it extra special.
I love that we get each others jokes and have the same sense of humor.
I love my Mason and feel SOOOO lucky he is mine.
So onto what we did for our 2nd anniversary. We started our day off with homemade scones, which turned out to be delicious! Then we dropped Max off with his aunt Lexi and headed to lunch. We went to a really good authentic Venezuelan restaurant. Mason live din Venezuela for 2 years so he knew the good stuff. But when we ordered our fried fish we did not expect to get a WHOLE fried fish. Yeah it was pretty creepy. But all the food was so good! And Mason got his soda he loved when he was there. Next stop was miniature golf at Hollywood Connection. We wanted to go because that is where he took me on our very first date. It was so fun to relive it a bit and have fun just the two of us.
Then we went and saw Thor in 3D. Then after taking Max home he went to bed at 7:30! It was so nice to have a night with Mason.
It turned out to be a wonderful day.

Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes

Max now knows(thanks in part to baby Einstein) where his head is. it is the cutest thing. He also knows where his nose, ears, and mouth are. He is so smart and is so happy and fun, I love my baby.
Also the tiny muscle shirt he is wearing is one we got from the hospital when he was born. I was going through all of his tiny newborn baby clothes to look at for Jack( I am so excited to use Max's clothes again!) and I found the shirt and decided to squeeze Max into it. It turned out quite adorable if I may say so. But going through all of those tiny clothes makes me soooo excited to have a little newborn again. Max is getting so big I forget he was once so little.

Dear baby Jack,

We found out you are our little baby boy Jack today. Daddy and I dropped off your older brother Max at Aunt Lexi's house then headed to the doctors. Daddy and I were SO excited to find out what you were and we were SO happy when she told us you were a little boy, our Jack.
We also got another surprise, you are not due the 28th of September like we thought you are due the 28th of August! So we get to meet you even sooner my sweet boy.
Daddy and I are counting down the days until we get to snuggle and hold you, and see that sweet face of yours. I love you so much and am excited to meet you.

Love, Your Mommy

The Hogle Zoo

Friday was such a beautiful day Mason's mom took us to the Zoo along with Mason's sister Lexi and her two girls, Savannah and Sienna.
We had so much fun. We packed a lunch and ate there then just took our time looking at each animal. Max got excited running around in the reptile house. We ended the day riding the train around the Zoo and eating ice cream cones, it was perfect.
