DIY kids vegitarian pizza

While I was shopping at Whole Foods yesterday I saw the Tofurky pepperoni slices and thought of this pizza idea. I got some mozzarella cheese, wheat tortillas, and marinara sauce.
It was easy to let Max help make it too and he loved it. I let him spread the sauce and sprinkle the cheese and pick where the pepperoni would go.
Just thought I would share this fun, easy, yummy idea.
And it was nice to find something Max would actually eat.

his own drum set. ;)

Me and my Max

Oh gosh do I love this boy!
It is crazy how much of a toddler he has become. He will be 20 months on the 17th only 4 months from 2, 4 MONTHS! I cannot believe it! He has already started his terrible two's. He his still so sweet and cute but he also tries to get what he wants and is on kind of a hitting phase. He will just get so excited playing that he just expresses it with a smack to my face sometimes :). but as soon as I stop and say "no, you don't ever hit" he usually will start pointing to where he hit and touch it softly trying to explain in his "eh ah eh ah" babble what happened. Then its hard to be mad.

He loves his brother Jack and tries to give him toys or play with one of his limbs and I have to remind him to be soft. He also is very quick to give Jack lots of kisses.

And boy does Max love his daddy. He thinks daddy is the coolest and loves to help him make coffee every morning. Mason is so good with Max, he always makes up the funnest games with his toys and wrestles with him or dances crazy with him. It is so cute to watch.

My sweet Max is just growing so fast and sometimes I look at him and think, where did those chubby cheeks and chubby arms go? What happened to the wobbly one year old? I miss his littleness, but I am also loving watching him grow and learn and become a little boy.

Auntie Em

My sister Emily came over to my house Thursday with my mom to make me a yummy vegetarian stew(my mom is so sweet). I love seeing Emily and don't see her nearly enough, She only lives in downtown Salt Lake so like 15min away but she is always so busy with school and work. I say poop on that. I want to start hanging out with her more when she gets her break from school, I have lots of plans for us. And Max thinks she is the coolest.
I love you Emmy pie.

The first snow of the season

We woke up to it snowing this morning and a blanket of snow covering everything. We had a cuddly morning and decided to throw on some clothes and have breakfast at our local coffee and bakery shop, Bakery and Brews. It was so nice and cozy.
Now im in the mood to listen to some Christmas music and snuggle with my boys.

Trick-or-Treating

As you can see it was an awesome night. Max loved trick-or-treating, he thought it was the greatest thing everyone was giving him candy. And his cousin Seinna was great introducing him at every house, "That's Max. He's a superhero." Then after Max would take some candy she would say "Oh he always does that, he always wants a lot." It was great.

Halloween Day

{just woke up from his nap}

{he was very happy about this leaf}

{carving the pumpkin!}

Halloween day we hung out and carved a pumpkin. And of course I had to take some pictures of Max out with all the awesome leafs that had fallen off our tree. Then we headed over to Mason's parents and played with Max in their backyard for awhile. We had the traditional pumpkin dinner, one of my favorite meals! Then it was time for trick-or-treating with Max's two cousins.
More to come on that.
