For Max's second birthday I wanted him to wake up to lots of balloons, I knew he would love it because he loves the movie Up a lot. I tried to sneak them into the car but when we were getting out he saw them and got so upset when he couldn't have them that we just let him have his birthday balloons on the eve of his birthday.
He woke up to a birthday banner and presents by the fireplace, we got him a big orange ball, a little people batman set, and Elmo plate, bowl and cup.
He was so cute opening it all and being so happy.
For breakfast I made him a toaster waffle(he loves them ok) with whip cream and fruit on top.
Mason had a show down in Spanish Fork that night for St. Patrick's day. So for fun and so I could see his band play Mason's parents got hotel rooms for us and his family. It was so fun, Max opened more presents, then we had dinner at Cracker Barrel, where my mom joined us. After that we did cake, we got a really delicious carrot cake from Bakery and Brews.
Mason had to go to his show and I tried to put Max and Jack to sleep so I could sneak out while Mason's parents watched them.
Poor Jack had the worst of his teething that night so I didn't get him to sleep until after 11pm. And Max stayed up till 12:45pm...I think he just didn't want his birthday to end.
The next morning we all got up and went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast(it was the only restaurant around).
It was a great weekend and such a fun way to celebrate my little St. Patrick's Day baby.
Oooooooh my gosh those kissing pictures! So cute. All of the pictures for that matter! That little Maxi sure is loved.
