Matt & Emily's Wedding
Mason and I were planning on going to his cousin Matt's wedding but then we got the news that his mom and grandma were sick and we were planning on going to his grandparents as a halfway point down to the wedding in Carlsbad, CA. Because we didn't want little Max getting sick we decided against going to his grandparents for the night. We were debating on even going to the wedding since it would be a 2 1/2 hour drive with Max and with maybe sick people there. So Saturday morning we were thinking of not going, then last minute we decided to try it. so we quickly packed up and got ready and headed out. Max ended up being very good on the car ride down and it was so nice to see everyone. we got a picture of the four generations with Max, that was really neat. And one with all 5 M.C.M's. I didn't get a chance to take a picture of it but Matt and Emily's wedding photographer did so hopefully we can get a copy. I am sad we didn't get to talk to the happy couple because we were visiting with people outside and before we knew it they were off on their honeymoon. Afterwards we went with Masons family back to his grandparents(I guess it wouldn't have hurt to go there in the first place) and spent the night there and headed home on Sunday. So it ended up being a nice weekend being able to see family and show them Max for the first time.We didn't get any pictures of Matt and Emily but plenty of Maximus :)

5 weeks old!
Max is five weeks old today, I cant imagine life without him now. It has only been five weeks but feels like he has been here longer and yet I cant believe he is five weeks old and he is getting bigger and bigger. I cant wait till he starts to laugh and coo more but at the same time I don't want him to get so big. He loves to sleep on my chest and I just love it too, he always grabs my shirt with his little hand and I love it! So he and I had a great hour nap yesterday and here is a picture I love that Mason took of us.

Grandma is here, and Max's first bath
Mason's mom came out got to come out the 26th of March so Max was 8 days old, she was there for his birth but she had to leave the day after so it was nice for her to be able to have her time with him. She was an awesome help and it was so nice to have her here. She gave Max his first bath in the sink and took him to get his newborn pictures. So here are some pictures with Max and his grandma.

Max comes home
So after our 2 day stay at the hospital Mason and I were very ready to take our baby home and be in our own bed. We him all dressed in his going home outfit, I got wheeled out to the car and we drove home with our new little family. It was so nice to finally be home and not be pregnant anymore and have Max in my arms. The first night went great Max is a good sleeper at night, so we just wake up about every three hours change his diaper and feed him.

Maximus Conway Morris is born
We welcomed our beautiful baby boy on Wednesday, March 17th 2010 at 6:02pm. He weighed 8 pounds 15.7 ounces and was 20inches long. I started having contractions at 12:00am, we went to the hospital at 2:00am. I was contracting but not dilating so they gave me a slow drip of pitocin and then some morphine to help me sleep. I started dilating and after a lot of contractions and holding back the incredible urge to push I was at 10 and they moved me into the delivery room and I was ready to push him out. After an hour of pushing(felt like 10 min to me though) out came my adorable sweet baby boy. He knew mine and Masons voices right away, Mason said "Hey buddy it's your dad" and he turned right to him and looked at Mason. I could not believe we had our baby I was so out of it after all the labor. It was nice to go to our hospital room and rest and look at our gorgeous little baby.
